Hello Circle K Members in the Rocky Mountain District,

 

The Rocky Mountain District of Circle K and Rocky Mountain District Foundation has designed a scholarship program to recognize Circle K members who have excelled in leadership and have provided service to others. Financial need is not a factor in this award. This year, there will be 3 scholarships awarded - a one-time US$1,000 award and two one-time US$500.00 award.

 

Who Is Qualified for the Rocky Mountain District Foundation Scholarships?

A Circle K Member who:

• has been an active Circle K member for one year in good standing.

• has paid dues and appears on the roster on file at Circle K International.

• is attending school during the Fall 2019 semester.

• is a college-, university-, technical-, or vocational school student.

• has a grade point average of at least a B average or the equivalent of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

• has attached an unofficial transcript.

• submits the application to the Circle K district administrator by the deadline established by the district. For further information, contact the administrator.

 

Here is the procedure that will be followed for the 2018-19 Rocky Mountain Foundation District Scholarship. The form we will use is at the end of this document.

You will need to include the following with your application:

1) Completed application filling in sections Circle K Offices & Leadership Events; Campus Organizations and Activities, Community Activities, and Honors, Awards & Special Recognition. (Additional sheets may be attached if not enough room is provided on the application.)

2) One recommendation letter as described in the application (examples include a mentor, Kiwanian, Advisor).

3) A copy of your unofficial transcript (oftentimes downloaded from your school's online portal).

4) An essay of no more than 500 words detailing the Circle K service project you participated in that has had the greatest impact on you.
